Server / Barista / Bartender
A server/barista/bartender at Terrace is required to provide our guests with a high-quality, innovative dining experience in both food and service in a warm and welcoming environment. Our goal at Terrace is that our guests have a memorable dining experience consisting of true Southern hospitality.

Responsibilities:
• Execution of service standards.
• Present yourself in a professional manner.
• Complete knowledge of the menu and beverage items.
• Maintain a clean, safe and healthy work environment.
• Able to lift 30/50 pounds.
• Ability to show initiative and self-motivation.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Open, honest and respectful communication with other individuals and departments.
• Flexible schedule and availability for weekends a must.


Host/Hostess
A host is the first point of contact for a guest entering Terrace, creating their first impression and tone in our quest for that “WOW” experience. A host should exude friendliness by always smiling and making the guest feel welcome. As a host you are required to assist in providing our guests with a high-quality, innovative dining experience in both food and service in a warm and welcoming environment.

Responsibilities:
• Open door for guest on arrival and departure.
• Greet guests with a smile and a personalized greeting when entering, and a “thank you” when leaving.
• General knowledge of our menu and beverage items.
• Ability to show initiative and self-motivation.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Open, honest and respectful communication with other individuals and departments.

Cook
A Terrace cook is an important member of the restaurant’s team. It is the cook’s responsibility to prepare and present his or her products as well-prepared, good-looking finished products. You are responsible for making a positive impression and creating “WOW” food for our guests.

Responsibilities:
• Understanding of overall menu knowledge.
• Possess strong effective staff relation skills.
• Attention to safe food handling, sanitation and personal hygiene.
• Keep his or her area clean and organized
• Work with a sense of urgency
• Have an eye for quality of finished plates of food
• Excellent communication skills.
• Open, honest and respectful communication with other individuals and departments.
• Flexible schedule and availability for weekends a must.


Back Server
A back server is an integral part of guest service in the dining room. This position an excellent stepping stone for becoming a server in our environment.

Responsibilities:
• Assist the server and bartenders in secondary service steps for our guests.
• Have an eye for quality of finished plates of food.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Open, honest and respectful communication with other individuals and departments.
• Flexible schedule and availability for weekends a must.


Food Runner
A food runner is responsible for knowing our food and delivering it to our guests.

Responsibilities:
• Must know how to present the food to our guests and, when needed, return with condiments or help correct errors.
• Have an eye for quality of finished plates of food.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Open, honest and respectful communication with other individuals and departments.
• Flexible schedule and availability for weekends a must.
